Three Months Course #1 Year 2026 in
Vedanta and Sanskrit at Swami Dayananda Ashram
29th January - April 21st, 2026

Arsha Vidya Pitham, Swami Dayananda Ashram, Rishikesh has announced a three-month residential course#1 for the Year 2026 ((3rd of 12 such courses) in Vedanta & Samskrit on 29th January, 2026. The course is conducted by Chief Acharya Sri Swami Sakshatkrtananda Saraswatiji assisted by Resident Acharya Sri Swamini Svatmavidyananda Saraswatiji.
The course syllabus includes Kathopanishad and Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 4) accompanied by Adi Shankara’s commentary, and a few secondary works on Vedanta, known as prakarana-grantha. Additionally, Meditation, Vedic chanting, Satsang (Bhajan & Question- Answeres) and Beginning, Intermediate and Paninian Sanskrit is taught.
The accommodation is strictly on a twin-sharing basis. Participants are expected to pay a nonrefundable registration fees of Rs 15000per course. In exceptional cases (of monastics/ brahmacharis/ brahmacharinis who have no source of income) the registration fees is waived at the Acharya ’s discretion. Participants will have to abide by the rules and regulations of the ashram at all times. Please look at the rules (Rules & Regulation) thoroughly and indicate your acceptance.
The Ashram reserves the right to ask any student to leave the course at any time without giving a reason, if in the perception of the ashram, the continuation of the student is not conducive for smooth conduct of the course.
The course is open for any individuals under the age of 65, having a good command over English language. Any interested candidate can apply for the course through this Application Form by 15 Nov, 2025.
